Realness, Love and Fun

Cory Cole

Hello Swamp Blog readers! I hope you're all as excited as I am, because as of Wednesday, February 1st, REGISTRATION for SUMMER CAMP 2017 will be OPEN!

There is a lot in store for this summer's adventures, and we don't want you to miss a thing, so here are a couple of announcements to keep on your radar!

First off, to check out the dates for Family Camp or any of the 7 camp sessions, click here. You can also click to register for any of the weeks at the bottom of that page.

In addition to registering campers for camp, all staffing positions for this summer will be available for applications starting tomorrow as well. Click here to fill out applications for being part of medical staff, kitchen worker team, teen workers or counselors (volunteer or full-time)!

ALSO, if you register and put down your deposit before midnight on April 1st, you will receive a FREE Swamp t-shirt with this summer's theme logo on it! WOW! So pick your camp sessions, mark your calendars, and get ready for a Swamp summer of a lifetime!

One of my favorite things about Camp Swamp is the culture of diversity and unity we have in Christ. In Ephesians 2:21-22, Paul writes,

"In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit."

No matter who is at camp, what theme of the week is, whether here in Georgia or South Africa or Kenya or Nicaragua or India, rain or shine, God truly moves in the culture we have at camp. And that's because everything is centered around knowing Him and glorifying Him. We see this in the team building activities as we work together as cabins to achieve goals. He is revealed in His glorious creation during the Starlight Devotional. We know He is at work as He transforms hearts and minds as we worship Him at the singing devo. At the core of camp are realness, love, and fun, and they all play out in everything we do. It's truly a unifying and bonding experience no matter the circumstances.

I can't wait to see what God has in store for Camp Swamp this summer, and we look forward to seeing you all there!

Until next week,
