Camp Swamp

Wow I can't believe this is the last time I will be a camper at the Swamp. The memories, the friendships, the bible classes at The Swamp will always be a huge part of my life. I remember being a smelly 9 year old camper looking up to my counselors and having the most fun a kid could have. I remember being 13 when I thought I was too cool for everybody and listening to the cross study for the first time by Mr. Sonny. I remember being 15 and letting my insecurities go and having a blast on the dance floor. And now being 17 and in cabin 8, I got the privilege of being the top dog and having those 9 year olds looking up to me as an example. I couldn't be more grateful for the Swamp. To Mr and Mrs. Sessions to the Mr. and Mrs. Rorabaugh and to all the counselors and kitchen workers who have served me over these years. If there was one word to describe this week it would be reflective. Reflective over all the times I've had at The Swamp. I'm hoping when I leave on Saturday morning that it won't be the last time I see this place. Also have to give a shoutout to my parents for paying and driving me to the Swamp all these years.
