Camp Swamp

This has been my second week at camp, and I've loved every second of it. I counseled my first week, and I was super nervous because I had no idea what to expect. It ended up being life changing. Being surrounded by so many child-like hearts completely overjoyed me. My girls reminded me of what it was like to be in love with Jesus, and it was incredible to be able to be part of their spiritual races. I have never laughed harder in my life. Their simple hugs and their want to do challenges or play games was wonderful. Now that I'm camping, I've been able to be a part of the lessons and have others help me in my race. The most important thing about camp to me is being able to build relationships with new people who will love you for you no matter what, and who are facing the same struggles the world throws at you. There's never a moment at Swamp where you feel alone. The constant singing helps with that! God has already taught me so much through other people and through the beautiful scenery that surrounds me every morning when I wake up.
